life so far...

its been 2 weeks since i've scribbled something...
well days and nights have passed without much to report.... Michael Jackson died and i really couldn believe it....
That man has seen heaven and hell in this world...
so i'm sure he'll go to heaven....
He was, and he will remain a legend...
a man who brought in pop and rock n roll....
a man who lived his dreams.....May his soul rest in peace...

I went to this horse club last sunday ... had lunch there and went around the stable...
there was this particular horse that grabbed my attention... it looked like black beauty...
the stable tenders warnde me that he was a rough one...
but i jus stood in front of him.... put my hand forward and he brought his head towards my hand..
i stroked him and then while i turned to face my friends, he rested his head on my shoulders... i've read somewhere that if a horse like you or trusts you, it'll rest its head on your shoulders.....
So that makes this horse my companion.....

The present

its been 3 days since i've posted something. Life is tough.. (well not all togethr...) but the recession is taking its toll here in congo... multiply that with the strikes in the cutoms office... everything is on a stand still....

we have materail to export but no trucks to load....


for those of u have joined in late...


i'm the logistics manager in a logistics company having operations all over africa. We export copper and cobalt, plus do imports of essential commodity from all over the world. we specialise in logistics and have operation all over africa....

so, due to the recession copper prices went down, mines were shut down (Lubumbashi; the city /province i live in is a mining province). Congo was the largest producer of copper and cobalt in the world....

so u see.. life isnt so happening these days...
we are surviving the effects of the recession slowly....
hope things start picking pace......

today is like yesterday, and yesterday was like day before yesterday...

same people... same routine.....
o went to the gym on these days...


need to tone down the extra fat that i've put on.....

its kind of an addiction these days for me... blogging and gymming..!!

got up at 8. had a quik shower and gt to office.... had a party yesterday nite... stayed up untill 1am... slept at 2...
think i am developing dark circles..... there were 6 of my frends..... guys who are into chatting and drinking and playing flash or rummy....

never interested in the stuff really...

life has not been so easy....
the recession and all...
wish things would return to normal....


gonna sleep as as soon as i get home...

that reminds me.... i'm really hungry... its 11 and i havent had breakfast...
(reminds me again that i'm single and living all alone in a villa in congo..)... wat will i have..... a sandwich with a cold simba beer .......(simba is the best beer i have had till now... wonder wat the recipe is..???
tastes so good and no hangover... amazing...)...
guys here have 8-10 simbas and are refreshed the nxt morn....
the maximum i've drunk is 3 or was it 4??? lost the counting after 2... (he..he..)...

so thats about it for sat...
got some cleaning to do in the afternoon, a light dinner and then off to bed...
tomorrow must go to church cos i missed it last week.... somehow i'm feeling an urge to hold on to god a little more tighter.... could be the loneliness.... o need to clean the pajero... after church....
ok.. i've decided...
